Participation in Walking Mums activities is voluntary, and by joining, you acknowledge that physical activities, including but not limited to walking, running, hiking, and group fitness activities, carry inherent risks. These risks may include slips, falls, collisions, overexertion, and other physical exertions that could result in injury, illness, or health complications. You and your children are fully responsible for your safety and well-being at all times. You understand that you are solely responsible for assessing your own health and fitness level before participating.

2. Health and Medical Considerations

It is strongly recommended that you consult with a doctor or healthcare provider before beginning any exercise programme, including participation in Walking Mums activities. If you or your children have any underlying medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, you should seek professional medical advice to determine whether participation is appropriate for you and your children.

3. Personal Responsibility

By participating in Walking Mums activities, you agree that you are responsible for your own well-being, hydration, and pace. You should listen to your body and stop if you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain, or any other discomfort. You accept full responsibility for the supervision, behaviour, and safety of you and your children throughout the activities. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to wear appropriate footwear and clothing for physical activities and to be aware of your surroundings, including road traffic, terrain, and weather conditions.

4. Organizers Are Not Trained Guides

The organisers of Walking Mums activities are volunteers and are not trained fitness instructors, medical professionals, or certificated guides. They are not responsible for providing medical assistance or ensuring participant or child safety. Each participant is responsible for their own actions and decisions while taking part in the activities.

5. Liability Waiver

By joining and participating in Walking Mums activities, you release and discharge the organisers, leaders, and other participants from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise out of or in connection with your participation. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during or as a result of participation in Walking Mums activities. This also applies to your children.

6. Weather and Environmental Hazards

Walking Mums activities may take place outdoors in various weather conditions. Participants should take precautions against heat, cold, rain, and other environmental factors. You must ensure your children are dressed appropriately for the conditions. It is your responsibility to stay informed about weather conditions and adjust your participation accordingly.

7. Photographic and Media Release

By participating in Walking Mums activities, you acknowledge that photos or videos may be taken during the activities. These may be used for promotional purposes unless you explicitly notify the organisers that you do not wish to be included in such media. If your children are present, you must inform the organisers if you do not consent to your children being photographed.

8. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By participating in Walking Mums activities, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this disclaimer. You voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with your participation, including any risks related to your children, and agree to abide by any guidelines or instructions provided by the organisers.
