Description
ABDA is a cultural, speciality coffee shop that highlights Sudanese, Egyptian, and Afro-Arab roots. It offers single-origin coffees, cultural brewing experiences, vegan and allergy-friendly options, and homemade cakes. Their café serves as a community space where everyone is welcome (for coffee, cake and culture!), showcasing the origins and traditions of food and drink from all over the world.
Abda is the founder and started her journey in 2014 with AB's Fusion Bakery. Abda found that in every country she visited, she could see the unique culture’s heart and soul reflected in the countries’ food and drink, which evolved into her travel-themed coffee shop, fostering a welcoming community despite challenges like COVID-19 and severe flooding in 2021. In 2022, Abda created HALA (named after her Mama), which provides inclusive catering, celebration cakes and cocktail/wine bars to make your events extra special, and in 2024 opened her second location, CELESTE.
